Advantages of built-in dispenser of Varioskan® spectrophotometer and spectrofluorometer

Varioskan spectrophotometer and spectrofluorometer has a unique feature of an optional built-in dispenser. The benefits of the dispenser are described in this note together with some examples about efficient use of the dispenser to optimize assay performance. The given examples include both photometric and fluorometric measurement, including fast kinetic fluorescence measurement with Fluo-3 label used for Ca²⁺ binding applications.
